Comicpalooza X and Cosplayers in Houston, TX | REEL 001

Comicpalooza X and Cosplayers in Houston, TX

This year for Comicpalooza I had one goal!! I wanted to film as many Cosplayers as I possibly could over the 3-day span, and that’s exactly what I did. There were so many people in great costumes, I only wish I had enough time to film even more of you! I want to extend a sincere thank you to every person, child, family, superhero, villain, demon, zombie, clown and lastly Comicpalooza for allowing me to film you and create this video. If I filmed you and you didn’t find yourself in this video, I’m really sorry, the memory card in my camera was corrupted and unfortunately, I lost some of my video clips. I was really disappointed because there were a few in particular that I lost of some pretty amazing cosplayers. To prevent this from happening again next year, I plan to have two cameras running at all times. Again though, I’m sorry if you took the time to let me film you and your clip isn’t on here.

This marked the 10th Anniversary for Comicpalooza, which is why it was dubbed “Comicpalooza X” this year. Comicpalooza put on a wonderful event this year and I have to say I was impressed with how organized everything was. So BIG shoutout to all the staff that helped to make this a record attendance and an overall amazing show! I like how they incorporated so much from the stages and viewings outdoors, to the exhibits indoors from the likes of NASA and The Marines, just to name a few. There was a wide array of booths ranging from comics, to horror and everything in between. In one booth you had ferries and princess themed trinkets and the next you had some naughty gnomes giving you the finger. I also found the legos displays to be very remarkable, the level of detail in them set them apart from some others I’ve seen. I didn’t get to spend too much time upstairs but I know there was a significant amount of gaming and events that were available and from what I saw for the short amount of time that I was up there was that it was equally as busy as the rest of the show downstairs. And of course let’s not forget the lineup of celebrity actors and actresses! Comicpalooza didn’t hold back one bit on lining up some of the best talent in the industry to come out for meet and greets!!

If you’ve never been to Comicpalooza in Houston, TX, it’s definitely something to add to your bucket list! Although I’ve been several times in the past, I never filmed it until now, so I can officially mark this off my bucket list!! Bucket List Item #382 “Go to Comicpalooza” is officially DONE!! I believe my bucket list is currently sitting at roughly 400 things I want to do. So if you’d like to help me check off some items on my Bucket List, check it out and shoot me a message or comment below on what you want to partake in!!
