Goodbye, 2019 and Happy New Year 2020! I hope you all had a good time ringing in the new year last night.
It’s a new year and with that comes new goals. And no, I didn’t mean new years resolutions, cause let’s be real, I rarely know anyone who follows through on them. I’ve set quite a few goals for myself for 2020 and I’m pretty focused on making them happen. Some of those goals are solo goals and some involve the help of family, friends and maybe even complete strangers.
So let’s get right into it! At the top of my list is selling my house and buying my RV! Not sure what I’m talking about, you can get all the details on that here. Once I officially have my RV I’ll get started on making my renovations to it so I can take out it on the road and start getting familiar with in throughout 2020 before I go full time in 2021.
In 2019 I kept my travel to a minimum, actually, I barely left Houston at all, not more than an hour outside of the city. So I’m hoping to get some travel time in for 2020, some of that time will be spent on weekend trips with the RV while learning to drive it and get settled into it. Some other travel that’s on my list is a cruise! Since I’m planning to travel full time in 2021 in my RV, I want to get in one more cruise in case I don’t have the funds for something like that later down the line. Speaking of travel, if you know some cool places I should check out now or even in the future once I have the RV, tell me in the comments. Some of my other goals are getting launching my podcast, not gonna say much more about that until it gets closer to launch. You can also expect to see more from Ghost Texas in 2020. In 2019 we only managed to get in 3 episodes but that was partially my fault, cause when I decided to sell my house, May through September were pretty much wiped out cause I didn’t have any spare time to work on GTX but for 2020 we have a lot more coming!!
I’m also working on some new merch and hope to roll out some new designs very soon but in the meantime, head over to my Merch Store and check out some of my current merch and ummm, maybe buy something while you’re there 🙂 haha.
I’m planning to do more with my photography as well. So if you’re a model or interested in being a model, hit me up and let’s line up a shoot. On a side note from that, if you ever have any interest in purchasing any of my photos, ALL of them are available for purchase on my website and on in several different formats from canvas, to gloss prints and even stuff like magnets and coffee mugs! I’ll also be expanding into street photography, landscapes and nature photography to name a few.
As for my video projects, I have several things lined up and I’ll hopefully be able to start uploading on a much more regular basis. I know I mentioned in the past that I was going to do some action camera videos and I’m still planning to, I just got backlogged a little this year, but they are definitely coming. I’m also looking to collaborate this year, so if you’re a fellow creator, musician, dancer, etc, let’s work on something together. I already have a few things in mind but I’m open to any ideas you may have as well. Shoutout to any of you who like to eat and try new places on the regular! Let’s start venturing out and hitting up some places, especially taco spots! I want to start working on this like yesteryear! If you or anyone you know has any connections on celebrities, athletes or honestly, just anyone interesting, I want to start booking interviews. It doesn’t even need to be someone “famous” or anything like that, if you have an interesting story and you want to share it with the world, let’s make it happen!! Lastly, I ordered 10 photos I shot to be made into puzzles and I plan to do timelapse videos of those like I did in Bucket List Item #109.
I think that covers most of my plans for 2020, I’m sure I forgot about a few things, but not worry, because I’ll be keeping you all up to date here on my website as well as my YouTube and other social media.
