My Houston Tacos List: Places I Want to Try Next

Why I’m putting this list together

I love tacos. If you know me well, you already know that probably from hearing me say it way too many times. I’m also the kind of person who makes sure I eat tacos every Tuesday, and yes, I even have taco shirts that I wear just about every Tuesday too.

So this idea has been sitting with me for a while: I want to make a recurring series about trying tacos in Houston and beyond on my YouTube channel. The idea behind it is simple. I like tacos, I like exploring, and I want a way to keep track of places I still need to try.

There is one catch, though. I’m a picky eater, and my tacos are pretty basic. That’s part of why I want other people involved. I want to invite friends, family, and really anybody who wants to join me on the hunt.

I’m calling the series “Let’s TACO ’Bout It.”

Why some obvious names are missing

If you’re looking at this list and wondering why I didn’t include places like Torchy’s Tacos, El Rey Taqueria, Velvet Taco, Tacos A Go Go, or El Tiempo, it’s because I’ve already eaten at those spots countless times.

That doesn’t mean they’re off the table forever. I may come back to them later. For now, I want to focus on places I haven’t tried yet.
