Time Square and Grand Central Station
I had two options to close out the night of day two of my weekend in New York, and if you watched the video, then you already know which one I chose! I decided to go to Time Square and Grand Central Station since both of them were on my Bucket List! After seeing them on TV over the years, it was cool to see them in person.
Even though I’ve seen Time Square countless times in movies, New Year’s Eve celebrations and plenty of other media outlets, it was much bigger in person than I realized. It was amazing how much light they all put off, I shot this entire video with my cell phone and I didn’t need any additional lighting to do so, even though it was probably about 11 o’clock at night.
As we walked over to Grand Central Station, we passed a few other landmarks like The Late Night Show, Rockefeller Plaza and a few other spots. Once we arrived at Grand Central Station, it too was surreal to see in person after seeing it in so many movies. I’m glad we went at night rather than during the day because it was pretty empty, which allowed me to get video clips without them being flooded with people.
