My father, Marcos Maya, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. I created this memorial video to honor his memory and celebrate the love he gave and the strength he showed throughout his life.

Some of you knew him through my videos. Others followed the updates I shared while caring for him. Even if you never met him, I wanted to share this tribute as a way to remember him together.

Time with my father

For the better part of a year and a half before his passing, caring for my father full time was my focus. It was one of the hardest and most important seasons of my life, and it was the reason I spent so much time away from the channel.

Losing him left a space that will take time to understand. When I shared this memorial, I was still finding my footing and figuring out what life would look like moving forward. I didn’t know when I would return to a normal routine on YouTube. Sharing his memory mattered more than setting a schedule.

Thank you for being here

To everyone who has offered kindness, encouragement, or support: thank you. It has meant more than I can express.

The video above is my tribute to my dad. I hope you’ll spend a little time with it, whether you remember him from the channel or are learning about him here for the first time.

In my later update about 2025, I share more about caring for my parents, the promises I made to my father, and what returning to creating means to me now.
