Bucket List Item #404, Seeing In True Color For The First Time | EnChroma

Today I completed bucket list item #404, seeing in true color for the first time. Just to be clear, I’m not fully colorblind, I just don’t see some colors properly. As a photographer, it has sometimes made things a little more difficult for me but I usually manage to work around it. But not anymore, now that I officially bought my EnChroma Color Correction Glasses, I can see colors the way I’ve never seen them before!! I knew the glasses would make a difference but I didn’t realize how much of a difference they would actually make! As you can see in the video, I was pretty taken back by it. It’s hard to convey it in words, because if your vision is good, then you don’t know what it’s like to see the way I see. I’ve since had several of my friends try the glasses and have had mixed results. For some people, it made no change at all, which means they already see color the way it’s meant to be seen. And others saw more vivid greens, some saw more vivid blues but for me what stood out the most were the reds, pinks and orange tones. You can also view my Bucket List.
