The Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas is a historic hotel with a rich history and a reputation for hauntings. Built in 1886, the hotel was originally intended to be a luxury resort for the wealthy, but it went through a series of changes throughout its history.

The hotel's first iteration as a luxury resort was short-lived, as it soon became a girls' school and then a college. In 1908, a man named Norman Baker purchased the hotel and converted it into a medical facility, claiming that the waters of a nearby spring had healing properties. However, it was later revealed that Baker had no medical training and was instead using the facility to scam patients out of their money.

After Baker was forced to shut down his operation, the hotel fell into disrepair and was eventually abandoned. In the 1960s, the hotel was bought by a group of investors and renovated, reopening as a hotel once again. Today, the Crescent Hotel is a popular tourist destination and is said to be one of the most haunted hotels in America.
